[00:00:00] Kristina: Hi there and welcome back to Your Dream Live podcast. I'm Kristin Carlson And I'm the founder of Dream Life, author of Your Dream. Life Starts Here and I am someone who is endlessly passionate about helping you create a life you truly love. Today's episode is about something that I have been reimagining a lot lately, and that is productivity, but not in the old hustle, harder way.

[00:01:55] We are talking about a newkind of productivity, one [00:02:00] that's more sustainable, more joyful, and far more aligned with your energy, your purpose, and your dream life. If you have ever felt like you are working hard, but not necessarily moving the needle on what truly matters, this episode is for you.

[00:02:19] Let's dive in. Let's start talking about the old paradigm of productivity for so long, productivity has been defined by how much you get done, how many boxes you tick, how fast you move. But here's the thing. that version of productivity often leads to burnout.

[00:02:39] It disconnects us from our values, and it ignores one essential truth. You are not a machine. You are a human being with rhythms, energy cycles, and a purpose that can't be measured in checklists. So let's reframe it and reimagining productivity. What if productivity wasn't about doing more, but doing what matters most?

[00:03:07] What if your to-do list started with things that lights you up along with your purpose and energize you in April? Inside our dream life coaching program, we are going to reimagine productivity together. It's going to be. All about intentional productivity, where every task, every breath, every moment is infused with meaning and energy.

[00:03:33] we'll be asking, what impact do I want to create? What kind of energy do I need to do that, and how can I align my daily actions to create The ripple I'm here to create? Because your work matters, but so do you. And when your energy and impact are aligned with your work, then that's when the magic happens.

So that is so important to have on top of your mind when you think about productivity. So here are five dream life tips to align work, energy, and impact. 

[00:04:20] And these are simple and beautiful shifts that you can start making today. Number one, design your day around your natural energy peaks. Are you a morning person?

[00:04:33] Do you get your creative work done early or are you a night owl? Do you save the deep focus work for later? Honor your rhythm. We're all different. Number two, one of the key things for me when it comes to productivity is to time block around my top three dreams for the year, and then I break them down in quarters, It's a complete game changer if you're not time blocking yet. If you time block each week around your top three dreams and take action each day, or every week, you will eventually get there and tick off those streams without doubt.

[00:05:14] Number three, identify your dream life priorities. Not everything matters equally. Use your journal to identify what three things today will move you closer to your dream life. Yes, there will be some urgent things that you might need to do, but always make sure your top three things for every day will be moving you closer to your dream life. Number four. Breathe when we got a lot on. We are often high wired and often stressed, and a simple way of changing that is to use our breath in April. Our habit focus in the dream life coaching program is.

[00:05:56] Breathing, using breath as a [00:06:00] tool to calm our nervous system, and come back to center. Just turn a deep breath can reset your energy, your focus, and your mood. we got the amazing Dr. Tori. Giles coming in to run a breath work workshop in April, she's unbelievably amazing.

[00:06:21] It's a game changer to productivity. And, if you haven't listen to, to podcast I did with Tori, definitely do that. And if you wanna take a deeper, join us in April. Number five reflect weekly. One of my favorite tools from Plan Your Quarter Workshop is reflecting on the previous quarter, but I also reflect weekly using the Daily Progress Journal, in the weekly review

[00:06:50] and the questions in the Daily Progress Journal are what went well, what did I learn? What challenges did I face, and what will I do differently next week? Get those answers to guide your next week. And if you do that every. Single week. Imagine how much you will improve each week by just reflecting, because if you're anything like I used to be, it's like I had so many dreams and goals and so much to do that I was just,moving on from one week to the next and.

[00:07:26] before I started to reflect weekly, I just didn't learn of some of the mistakes and wasn't getting more productive. It wasn't really until I started to be really intentional about productivity and start actually, reflect and review my weeks and my quarters and my years.
