Welcome back to another Monday Morning Motivation episode of Your Dream Life Podcast!

I’m thrilled to be here for your weekly dose of inspiration as we dive into a fresh week full of possibility. Today, I want to share a quote that resonates deeply with me – and I hope it will for you, too.

The quote is from Simon Sinek: “Dream big, start small, but most of all, start.” These simple words are a reminder that all fulfilling dreams start with a single, often small, step. It’s easy to get inspired and imagine the incredible things we’d love to do, see, and achieve. But sometimes, the hardest part is just taking that first step, right?

So, today, let’s unpack what it really means to dream big, start small, and – most importantly – actually start. I want this episode to inspire you to take that very first step towards whatever you hold dear in your heart.

First, let’s talk about dreaming big. Dreaming without limits is essential because it helps us connect to our truest potential. You’ve probably heard me talk about my “3am List” – a list of dreams I made in a moment of raw honesty. That list changed my life because it revealed what I truly wanted. I invite you to take a moment now or later today to let yourself dream, freely and openly. Grab a notebook or journal and allow yourself to put down those desires.

Now, here’s where Simon Sinek’s advice really shines: after dreaming big, start small. This step is crucial because, let’s face it, big dreams can feel intimidating. But breaking them down into small steps can make those dreams feel achievable. Consider something you’re dreaming of – a career change, your own business, a creative project, or even a healthier lifestyle. Then, ask yourself, “What is one small thing I can do today to bring me closer to that dream?”

Small steps could mean researching, signing up for a class, talking to someone who has achieved what you’re aiming for, or setting aside just a few minutes each day to work on your goal. Remember, each action, however small, is progress.

Finally, we come to the part of the quote that is both simple and powerful: but most of all, start. Isn’t it interesting how the simplest steps can be the hardest to begin? We often wait for the “perfect time.” But as I say in the podcast and my dream life coaching program, there’s rarely a “perfect” time – the best time to start is always now. Starting is a way of showing up for yourself and signaling to the world that you’re ready to bring your dreams to life.

Imagine how incredible it will feel a month, a year from now, looking back on the progress you made – all because you decided to start with a small step today. Time will pass quickly – before we know it, we’ll be at the end of 2025. Don’t wait; don’t let this time slip by.

To integrate this into your day and week, I have a small exercise for you. If you have a journal or notebook, write down one dream you hold in your heart. It could be something big or small, or a new idea that excites you. Next, write down one small step you can take toward it. Then, here’s the magic part: commit to doing it today or sometime this week. Write it down as a promise to yourself.

If you need support, remember our Dream Life coaching program is here to help you get started and stay on track with your small steps, celebrating wins along the way. This is why I created the program – to inspire people to go after their dreams. You don’t want to reach the end of your life wishing you’d started earlier. Maybe your first step is joining me in the Dream Life program, where you’ll find a community of inspiring dreamers on the same journey.

So, as you step into your Monday, I want you to hold this close: Dream big, start small, but most of all, start. Each day, take one small step and see how they build a path to your dreams.

Thank you for joining me today. Have a beautiful Monday, a wonderful week, and remember – you’re not alone on this journey. Together, let’s keep dreaming and taking steps, one at a time.

As always, I’ll be back on Friday.
